Spring Quilt Market

What a busy, hectic and exhilarating weekend Quilt Market always is. In the exhibit hall you can both hear and feel the energy and excitement of so many new ideas in a single place. The above photo is of part of one aisle, now multiply that by twenty-eight (there were 29 aisles) and you can visualize the massive size of the show floor. I tried, but I did not get the time to walk the entire show. There were many fabric vendor booths with oh so many beautiful fabrics to choose from and even more quilt pattern and book vendors with great ideas of how to use the beautiful fabric. It would be hard to choose and still keep within a budget.

For me, it was great to see old friends, make new contacts, and to be a part of the excitement. In the rush of everything I neglected to take a photo of our booth to share with you. It was pretty with so many of my applique quilts in one place.

The days since Market have been a blur of work and sleep and then more work. As soon as we get our orders out, life will even out again for me. I’m counting on it. Happy Mother’s Day!
