		<description>snow?!?  oh dear.  i don&#039;t envy you.  we have been having a beautiful fall in my part of the country...definitely no snow! :o)

it was very interesting to read your thoughts on the comments a reader shared with you.  although i never see myself entering in a show (just not of interest to me), i will say that i agree with you.  those of us that are traditional quilters need to keep our &quot;voice&quot; out there.  there have been so many times in the past few years that i&#039;ve walked away from a quilt show disappointed at *only* seeing one kind of style (art).  i enjoy looking at all of the different kinds...and there are far too little traditional ones out there.

i think one of the reasons why i would never enter one of my quilts in a show is because i don&#039;t care for the very heavy quilting that seems to be so popular nowadays.  the majority of the quilts look like they would be stiff as a board and probably stand on their own with all of the intense quilting.  definitely not a kind of quilt i&#039;d want to curl up with. ;o)
