Applique…A Beginning

One of the quilts I saw at the DUP Museum (Daughters of Utah Pioneers) in 1981 was a lovely applique with a very distinct flower. (Hexagon Rose, Elizabeth Shank, 1842, Rogerville, Ohio, 81″ x 79″. Owned by The Daughter of Utah Pioneers Museum, Salt Lake City, Utah.)
