Vintage Roses is a delightful pieced quilt with an applique border that is reminiscent of the 1930's. Beginning with a lovely, faded-looking, large scale floral fabric Jeana designed this quilt for her bed. Throughout the making of the Vintage Roses quilt Jeana thought often of her grandmother who had been one of her first quiltmaking teachers. As a tribute to her grandmother, Jeana introduces her to the reader in the book with photos and a short memorial.
Complete instructions for making "Vintage Roses" and a smaller 44" x 44" version called "Baby Roses" are included in this compact pattern book. Color photos of the two versions will inspire you as you chose fabric and stitch your own quilt.
